            PassPing is designed with privacy in mind. Your gym pass data is stored locally on your
                device and never sent to our servers.
        

1. Information We Collect

PassPing collects the minimum data required to function:

Location data: Used solely to detect when you arrive at a gym you have saved. Location data is processed on-device and never transmitted to us.
Pass data you enter: Gym names, visit counts, expiry dates — stored locally on your device using iOS system storage.

2. Advertising

PassPing displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. We use non-personalized ads only. AdMob may collect:

Device identifiers (e.g., IP address)
General usage and interaction data for ad serving

These are used purely for delivering ads — not for building personal profiles. We do not use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for tracking purposes. For more details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Location Permissions

PassPing requests Always Allow location permission to enable background geofence monitoring — so it can notify you when you arrive at a gym even if the app is closed. This location data:

Is never sent to PassPing servers
Is not shared with third parties (beyond what AdMob collects for ad serving)
Is only used to trigger local notifications

You can revoke location permission at any time in Settings → PassPing → Location.

4. Data Storage

All your pass data (gym names, visit counts, history) is stored locally on your device. We have no servers that store your personal information. There is no account or sign-in required.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

Google AdMob — for non-personalized ad delivery as described above.

6. Children's Privacy

PassPing is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
